Frequently Asked Questions

We offer Botox, dermal fillers, TMJ and jaw pain treatment, gummy smile correction, and facial harmonization. These are not afterthought services — they sit alongside our dental work because the face and the smile are connected. Same team, same standard of care.

Most people do not realize how much of dental training is about facial anatomy — every muscle, nerve, and structure around the mouth and jaw. That knowledge does not disappear when we pick up a syringe for Botox. If anything, it makes the placement more precise than you would get elsewhere.

It genuinely can. When Botox is injected into the masseter — the jaw muscle responsible for grinding — it relaxes the force behind the habit. Patients often notice their headaches getting better first, then the jaw tension. It does not stop you from chewing normally. It just takes the edge off the clenching.

When you smile and more gum shows than tooth, that is what we call a gummy smile. Some people have lived with it their whole life and assumed fixing it meant surgery. In most cases it does not. We use a minimally invasive approach that reduces the gum display and brings the smile into better proportion — it is one of those treatments where patients see the result and immediately wonder why they waited so long.

Botox usually holds for three to six months. Fillers last longer — anywhere from six months to around two years depending on what was used and where. We walk through this at your consultation so there are no surprises about when you might want to come back.

For most people, none worth mentioning. A little redness or swelling at the injection site that fades within a few hours. We ask patients to skip intense workouts for the first 24 hours after Botox — that is about the only real restriction. Most people head straight back to work or their day.
