Dr. Carolina Velez

About Dr. Carolina Velez

Dr. Carolina Velez earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Minor in Business from the University of South Florida. Her dedication to academic excellence led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University, where she graduated with the Academic Excellence Award.Driven by her passion for helping others, Dr. Carolina Velez chose a career in dentistry—a profession where she could make a direct impact by caring for her patients’ smiles and overall oral health. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University, where she remained actively involved in the community as a member of the Hispanic Dental Association and the Health Literacy Club.

During her time at Tufts University, Dr. Velez completed an externship in Winslow, Arizona, providing much-needed dental care to Native American communities, including the Navajo and Hopi tribes—some of the most underserved populations in the country. Her commitment to continued learning led her to pursue advanced training in implant dentistry, earning Fellowship status with the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIP) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Velez is also highly trained in facial aesthetics. She is certified by the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics (AAFE) and has completed extensive coursework in facial harmonization treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers. Her expertise allows her to offer comprehensive smile and facial enhancement treatments, helping patients achieve not only optimal oral health, but also a rejuvenated, confident appearance.

In her free time, Dr. Velez is an avid runner, an enthusiastic reader, a passionate food aficionado, and a lover of Latin dance. Most importantly, she cherishes spending time with her husband and son, creating beautiful memories together.

Dr. Daniel Gonzalez

About Dr. Daniel Gonzalez

I am your diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and Pediatric Dentist in Canton, Massachusetts.

Dr. Gonzalez earned his DMD from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2015 achieving the presidential award and being inducted into the Honos Civicus society. Dr. Gonzalez did his undergraduate studies in the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and his high school in Noble and Greenough school in Dedham, where he serves in the graduate council. Dr. Gonzalez completed his pediatric residency in the NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Holyoke MA, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Gonzalez is a diplomate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has served on the board of trustees for the Hispanic Dental Association. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDA), Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), and the Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association (MHDA) where he serves as a Board of Trustee.

In his free time, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys playing soccer, skiing, Brazilian jujitsu, kickboxing, biking, going to the movies and staying active. Dr. Gonzalez loves to travel, seeing new places, and learning new cultures. Dr. Gonzalez also likes to give back to his community and often goes on mission trips to South America and the Caribbean to help those less fortunate. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family and son.

About Dr. James O. Hill II D.O.

James O. Hill II, DO, is a specialist in osteopathic medicine and is a board-certified emergency physician With a background in the military and in addiction treatment. Dr. Hill brings invaluable experience, specialized training, and a compassionate attitude to every patient he treats.

After graduating from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Hill completed his specialty training at the Jackson Memorial Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital, both in Miami. During his time in the United States Army, Dr. Hill served as an ER physician in the 86th Combat Support Hospital in Baghdad. His other positions during his time in uniform included flight surgeon, commanding officer of Emergency Medical Services, and director of the Emergency Department of the 121st Combat Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.

James O. Hill II, DO, is a specialist in osteopathic medicine and is a board-certified emergency physician With a background in the military and in addiction treatment. Dr. Hill brings invaluable experience, specialized training, and a compassionate attitude to every patient he treats.

Since leaving the military, Dr. Hill has practiced medicine in a variety of capacities, as an ER physician, a specialist in hyperbaric wound care, and a director of medicine. But his most impactful experience since leaving the Army has been his time as the founder and director of the North Star Treatment Center for Addiction. As an addiction specialist, Dr. Hill has seen firsthand the danger that prescription painkillers like opioids and benzodiazepines can have on patients, and this has led him to turn to alternatives to these traditional options.
